3000A ACB servicing, calibration & MSB servicing
75% OF the breakers on the respective vessel were having issues at the time of docking. DPV accepted and serviced the ACBs up to the required standard. Our team overhauled 12 nos of 1250A – 3000A ACBs and installed the breakers. Primary current injection, UV Coil Pickup/Drop Test, spring charge mechanism inspection and MSB simulations were performed. Each and every ACB was fine-tuned to perfection and to 100% working condition. All the measuring equipment was calibrated to the standard and certified. The equipment that did not meet the requirements was replaced with new ACBs were handed over to the client.
Overhauling of 07 generators
The client requested to conduct an inspection of the abnormal heating issue of the sleeve bearings of the two shaft generators on board. The issue was identified as the bearings were heavily worn out. As such 07 generators, shaft generators, Harbor generators and AFT generators were overhauled. The rotors were dynamically balanced & the shaft generator sleeve bearings were re-metaled and completed the installation. The bearing temperatures were 40% reduced at the time of testing.
