Heavy oil pump designing, fabrication & delivery

The specific model of the pump was discontinued in 1998. A regular customer requested a model that can be retrofitted. No compatible models in the market and the available models were not within reach.  So, the DPV team stood up to design a new pump for the client. As we fabricate the pump in our facility we customized the design according to easy installation and repair work. The final product was tested up to the standards and shipped to the client within a short period of time.

Starboard side abnormal vibration of passenger catamaran

Preliminary inspection revealed that the propeller shaft is not in line with the gearbox and main engine. Couplings of prop shaft – gearbox was uncoupled and aligned to the proper shaft line. The main engine was aligned to the gearbox later on. The abnormalities were faded. Our team performed the bearing renewal of the prop shaft at the recent dockage. The client expressed himself “I feel relieved, thank you, my friend”.

Rudder propeller maintenance work

After a serious accident, the client requested DPV team to assist. DPV Offshore docked the vessel and initiated the project urgent basis. Disassembled the rudder, propellers & propeller shafts. We replaced the port side prop shaft as the shaft suffered an unrecoverable twist. All the propeller shaft bearings, seals and couplings were inspected and machined to the original dimensions in the process.

MAN engine reconditioning work.

With experience over 10+ years in the ship repair industry, DPV has claimed the client’s trust in bearing the heart of a ship, the main engine. DPV team completed the project in our own facility which is capable of handling the world’s biggest engine parts.

Cummins QSK60 main engine full overhaul

The vessel sailed with many engine complications & the main engines were in pretty bad shape. Then the owners contacted DPV Offshore, our team. We started the process & sorted out the issues. Voltage failure of the Aux. engine. Identification and rectification.

The client reached DPV Offshore for troubleshooting voltage failure and DPV Offshore deployed the electrical and automation team on board. The troubleshooting was completed successfully. After a thorough inspection, DPV team identified a massive risk that may cause the whole Aux. engine to fail. Our team worked as one and the causes were eliminated

Abnormal vibration rectification of 2MW alternator.

DPV Offshore accepted the challenge of full disassembly of a 10-ton gigantic alternator at rough sea conditions. The rotor had to be transported ashore for dynamic balancing. We completed the project within a short time frame while delivering the best quality service..
